Engaging your people through change and continuous improvement

Scottish Enterprise
Carnegie Conference Centre- Dunfermline, Halbeath Road , Dunfermline, KY11 8DY
Monday, November 9, 2015 - 08:00 to 10:30

This breakfast event is aimed at outlining what excellence in ‘Lean’ looks like, the application of the change model, the role of the Leaders in the change process and the significance of process confirmation.

“Outstanding leaders go out of their way to boost the self esteem of their personnel. If people believe in themselves, it’s amazing what they can accomplish.” – Sam Walton – Founder WalMart

This event will take you through the change process and emphasis how best to achieve sustainable change.

Why should you attend?
The rate of change in your business is slower than anticipated and the appetite for change isn’t quite what it should be. Any process changes achieved are often short lived and there is an expectation that these changes won’t be fully supported, with a consequential migration back to previous practices.

This workshop will help you to identify opportunities for improvement in your approach to change and increase the likelihood of securing sustainable change going forward.

It’s a fantastic opportunity to find out how you and your workforce can work together in the best interests of the business.

Who should attend?
Those with people management responsibilities who are keen to secure a higher level of ownership and engagement from their staff and who wish to clearly understand and better appreciate their own respective roles in the change process.

The event has been timed to ensure minimum time away from the workplace, starting at 8.00am with breakfast rolls, fruit, pastries and refreshments and finishing promptly at 10.30am, with lots of opportunity to ask questions and network.
