Many electronic devices are produced by photolithography and the masks, produced by Compugraphics, perform a similar function to a negative in conventional photography. Photomasks are high precision plates made out of Quartz or Soda Lime glass with a chrome layer on one side. They contain microscopic pictures of electronic circuits. The design of the electronic circuit is etched into the chrome layer.
As the master image for many complex manufacturing processes, these photomasks are produced with tolerances down to atomic scale.
Compugraphics are experts in photomask design and manufacture. We work closely with hundreds of semiconductor, optoelectronics and MEMS companies, and universities throughout Europe and the USA. Since producing our first photomask in 1970, we now possess over 45 years' experience with sites in: Glenrothes, Scotland; Jena, Germany; Fremont, California, USA and Austin, Texas, USA. Compugraphics takes great pride in providing clients with not only photomask solutions but also offering an unmatched level of customer support. We achieve this through partnering with our clients to understand their needs and ensure the best solution is achieved using our extensive expertise. Compugraphics manufacture photomasks from sizes 3” to 32”. We are the supplier of choice for 300mm 1x aligner masks for advanced packaging applications such as TSV.
Our production team work 24/7 to prepare data and produce the highest quality masks. This means that we can deliver your mask to you, exactly when you need it. Data in GDS format is preferred, however we can also work with other formats (ie. DXF, BMP, CIF…). If you need help with data preparation, please contact us for assistance.
