Young workforce investment is heavily advocated, encouraging a ‘can do’ attitude in a safe working environment. Over the last 5 years, KR Group have supported and developed 27 young people in construction roles. Additionally, we are in regular contact with locals schools, colleges, universities and community groups to share industry knowledge and promote and encourage the construction sector through project and activity engagement.

By investing in our environment, we invest in our future. We are ISO 14001 accredited and aim to be PAS 2060 accredited by February 2022 which will see KR Group achieve carbon neutral status. As a business we continually strive to incorporate environmental good practice into our business and workplace, taking a sustainable approach to waste management and minimising our use of resources company wide. We have recently launched our ‘KR Bon Reduction’ project which provides a circular economic solution to cladding panel waste by reusing it as rigid insulation for construction projects, in addition to several other waste reduction & energy saving initiatives.
Safety and wellbeing are at the forefront of what we do. Our ethos of being solution and safety focused resonates throughout the business and is demonstratable by our Health & Safety Stats. An external consultancy firm is utilised to ensure our exceptional standards are maintained and a dedicated internal safety team meet regularly to develop solutions and promote safe working.
