Why you should prevent counterfeiting and what you can do to protect your brand!

We a running a webinar in conjunction with SnapDragon Ltd on limiting the impact of counterfeiting in the manufacturing sector. Johnstons of Elgin who will also share their experiences of infringements and distribution regularities.

Date: 26th August

Start tme: 10am

“Counterfeiting is not just an issue for big-name luxury brands. All brands are potential targets for criminals. By protecting your brand online and removing rogue listings, you do not just remove them from sale but can help stop the supply chain at the source of the problem.”

Born as a result of the founder, Rachel Jones' personal journey as a Scottish SME owner and her experience of the impact of counterfeiting on her brand, SnapDragon is an online brand protection company, dedicated to fighting fakes and has become a leading light in intellectual property enforcement and brand protection, defending revenues, reputations and, just as importantly, consumers globally.

The company works with brands across the world to monitor online platforms, including social media sites, to ensure their IP is not being abused.

CeeD is running a session in partnership with Snapdragon, on 26th August where you will learn from Rachel about the essentials of online brand protection. Find out how to look for copies/fakes and what you can do if you find them.

You will also hear from Nick Bannerman, Managing Director (Knitwear) & Global Sales Director, Johnstons of Elgin who will share his experiences of infringements and distribution regularities which were picked up due to Johnston’s innovative approach to online monitoring and unique labelling processes.

“Using IP to prove originality – rather than legal processes – enables efficient, effective removal of the infringing links and a sound ROI.” (Rachel Jones)
