A set of back-to-back interactive workshops presented by CeeD members Here's The Plan and Nature Broking, at the brand new facilities of Edinburgh Futures Institute.
Here’s The Plan will provide their Embedding Sustainability workshop - an interactive, high-energy session designed to spark creativity, push boundaries, and foster collaboration. You’ll dive into innovative problem-solving with a twist: a ‘lite’ personality test will mix you up with participants from all backgrounds, ensuring every group is packed with diverse ideas, values, and visions.
If you have experienced challenges bringing your workforce on board with your sustainability journey, then this is the perfect workshop for you. All backgrounds, departments and levels welcome.
Once teamed up, the challenge is on! You'll re-imagine a product or service with sustainability at its core, tackling three major metrics:
- The 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals.
- The Scope 1, 2, & 3 emissions associated with organisations.
- Your triple bottom line: people, planet, and profit.
We’ll give you a crash course on these metrics before you dive in, and we will be on hand to support and guide you every step of the way.
This will be followed by another lively interactive session provided by Nature Broking presenting their Carbon Card Game.
The Carbon Card Game is run in small groups by a team leader from Nature Broking and aims to engender discussion, education and networking through learning about the Voluntary Carbon Market, the different type of carbon credits and how they can be used by corporates on their journey to carbon neutrality or Net Zero, and how Nature Broking’s de-risked portfolio approach can be applied to a set of hypothetical companies each with differing requirements.
It’s a journey through carbon offsetting, steered by Nature Broking, but driven by each group. Every session will be slightly different, depending on the participants, but building trust in and understanding of the carbon markets through education is the core aim.
A networking lunch will be provided by EFI from 1pm - 2pm.
