There are a lot of opinions about flexible working in the media right now. But if you want to know the facts about what’s really happening in Scottish workplaces in 2025, you’re warmly invited to join the Flex Works team and guests as they talk through the latest Flex for Life data insights.
When: Tuesday 11 March. Doors open 9.30am. Formal session from 10am to 11am.
Where: Leidos, Skypark 1, 8 Elliot Place, Glasgow, Scotland, G3 8EP.
Flex for Life research is Scotland’s most comprehensive analysis of flexible working, and includes data from more than 1,000 Scottish workers, 250 Scottish employers and 200 unemployed adults looking for work.
The team will give you a brief summary of their findings, and then discuss the current state of flex with a brilliant panel of speakers from innovation company Leidos, and energy firm SSE.
You will hear:
• What’s happening to levels of flexible working, including hybrid
• What employers think of flex now, and their predictions for 2025
• What difference flex makes to job seekers looking for work
• How Leidos and SSE ‘do’ flexible working, and why it works for them
• Clear and practical recommendations including how to create flex in frontline roles, how to encourage people to work in the office and how to improve recruitment and retention with flex.
You will have the opportunity to ask the Flex Works team and the speakers questions, and network over light refreshments.
