Managing Health and Safety - The Basics

Lanarkshire Chamber of Commerce is delighted to be hosting a series of training sessions sponsored by NHS Lanarkshire's Healthy Working Lives Team to promote Health and Well Being in the Workplace.

The first session is titled: "Managing Health and Safety - The Basics"

This session aims to provide delegates with an introduction to the benefits of actively managing safety and health issues in today's business environment.  The course is ideally suited to business managers and team leaders and anyone who has an interest in linking good safety and health standards into their current operation.

Please note that this course is only available to small businesses with up to 250 employees outwith the Public Sector.  A maximum of 2 places per workplace can be booked.

The session will focus on:

  • Why manage health and safety
  • The safety and health management process
  • Workplace hazards and health risks
  • Workplace support and advice
