he Encompass Team is pleased to announce that registration is now OPEN for the jointly partnered Encompass and Centre of Defence Enterprise (CDE) networking event.
CDE will launch themed competitions for fully funded contracts on:
- synthetic biology applications in defence (up to £1million available)
- defence medical sciences (up to £500,000 available)
Head of CDE, Andy Nicholson, will introduce CDE and give an overview of proof-of-concept research funding opportunities for innovative science and technology providers. Military Advisers and technical experts from Dstl (the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory) will give details of the areas where innovative research ideas are being sought for CDE's ongoing enduring challenge competition.
You will also have the opportunity to pre-book face-to-face meetings with CDE, Dstl and military experts to discuss your potential proposal to either the enduring challenge competition or one of the themed competition.
