5th UK Algae Conference

University of Glasgow
University of Glasgow
Friday, July 10, 2015 - 09:00 to 17:00

It is my pleasure to inform you that on Friday 10th July, 2015, the Systems, Power and Energy Research Division at University of Glasgow will host the 5th UK Algae Conference.  This has proven to be a successful event in the past, with a turnout of over 130 academic and industrial delegates, including leading scientists and multinational R&D companies from algae and renewable energy research fields, attending the last conference help by Cranfield University, June 2014.

I would like to extend and invitation to you to attend this free event.  It is a great opportunity to network with your peers as well as leading academic scientists, policy makers and business managers who have influence in the algae industry.  Discover and share pioneering algae research, from applications in wastewater bioremediation, biofuel development, photobioreactor design and technology, synthetic engineering, photosynthesis and lipid research and more.

This conference is primarily a forum for post-doctorates and PhD students to disseminate their research findings relating to microalgae and to network.

The event registration webpage will be open shortly, we shall update you with news on the schedule and speakers over the next few weeks.

If you are interested in registering for this event or if you wish to speak, present a poster or exhibit at this event, please get in touch by contacting j.mcmillan.1@research.gla.ac.uk
