Employment Law changes coming into effect in 2024

Lindsays have provided an update for CeeD members on the changes to employment law which are taking place in the first and second half of this year.

Employers started 2024 faced with the prospect of understanding and adapting to the most significant year of change in employment law that we’ve seen for some time. Over the course of two articles, Lindsays look at Employment law changes we can expect throughout 2024.

The first article looks at the changes due to come into effect in the first half of 2024 and covers holiday entitlement & pay; TUPE transfers; paternity leave; national minimum wage increases; flexible working changes; carer's leave; and family-friendly protection from redundancy.

In the second article, Lindsays turn their attention to some of the new legislation expected to impact employers in the latter half of 2024, including tips & gratuities; the right to request more predictable terms and conditions of work; and neonatal care leave.
