Successful Open Day at new Advancing Manufacturing Centre

The new Advancing Manufacturing Centre in the West Highlands (AMC-WH) held an Open Day in Fort William on Friday 19th November, to provide a special ‘behind the scenes’ look around the new Centre.

The AMC aims to become a drop-in hub for anyone looking to bring their business ideas to life. They ran on-the-hour Centre tours to show all the machinery and software on offer and talked through the free support they can provide to SME organisations.

There was also an oportunity to meet the equipment makers – who gave demonstrations of the equipment in action. There were also samples of products designed and created by AMC on display to showcase the art of the possible.

David MacGregor, Business Development Manager, at CeeD was able to make it along and commented:

"It was a great visit. Well attended by a variety of people and small business owners looking for support."
