IDS are an engineering services company operating from a 40,000ft2 factory in Cumbernauld, Scotland. In October 2020, the company was acquired by M Group Services who deliver infrastructure services within the water, energy, transport, and telecommunication in UK & Ireland.
IDS started as a telemetry services provider and have expanded our service offering to provide a complete range of mechanical and electrical services, including CompEx installations, design, testing, installation and commissioning, instrumentation, and systems integration specialist capabilities.
From our factory, we specialise in manufacturing standard product solutions including skid and kiosk mounted clean water booster pumping stations, wastewater pumping stations with valve chambers and control panels, control panels and chemical dosing systems. We also manufacture specialist process plant for international clients with projects undertaken for installation across Scotland, Northern Ireland and Slovakia.
We design, manufacture, test, install and commission wall mounted control panels and floor standing conventional and intelligent MCC’s, complete with full ICA sections, plc, HMI and SCADA integration and profibus networks.
IDS operate a UKAS certified management system, accredited to ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 with our quality system also accredited to ISO9001 TickITplus for the control and management of software development for systems integration applications.
We are members of Select and are NICEIC registered.
IDS are official Siemens Solutions Providers for Systems integration and Integrated Drive Systems, with our teams fully trained and supported in all aspects of selection, installation, integration and commissioning of Siemens products from plc’s, HMI, SCADA, Variable speed drives and motors.
