At the end of 2022, 196 countries agreed to the implement the Nature Positive Global Goal to take urgent action across society to halt and reverse biodiversity loss and achieve a Nature Positive world by 2030.

Driving this change through governmental, business and societal action.

But what does this mean for your business?

Research from the World Economic Forum shows that more than half of the world’s total GDP is moderately or highly dependent on nature and therefore impacted by its loss.

The Nature Positive Global Goal is already creating regulatory change in Scotland.

The Scottish Government has already published it Scottish Biodiversity Strategy to 2045 which adopts the Nature Positive Global Goal and aligns action to meet its Net Zero by 2045 legal targets.

Work is now in progress to set legally binding targets for nature restoration in Scotland through the Natural Environment Bill.
