We'd like to invite business' that operate in the construction sector to a free tour of the BE-ST (Built Environment I Smarter Transformation) Innovation Factory which has been supporting construction-related businesses to collaborate and innovate.
Described as being like 'Willy Wonka's chocolate factory for the built environment', the new 2.5million, 35,000 sq ft. Innovation Factory gives the sector access to a range of state-of-the art equipment and expertise, as well as the opportunity to work with them on R&D projects, hire their equipment or one of their fully equipped conference, meeting & training spaces.
Construction businesses of all sizes can use the facility to test and develop new products, processes, systems and solutions, from early stage ideas through to commercial realisation. The building will also provide a range of collaboration and training facilities to allow organisations in the private, public and academic sectors to share knowledge and information
The Innovation Factory can help organisations to:

You'll also hear from Make It Smart Hub, one of the 12 Advancing Manucaturing Challenge Fund projects, which delivers transformational improvements, in the Highlands and Islands (H&Is) economy, through working with Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in construction, manufacturing and the built environment.
