United Kingdom
Renewable Parts Ltd (winners of the CeeD Industry Awards - Low Carbon Award Winner 2020) has introduced this novel refurbishing parts concept into the UK wind industry. An industry predominantly controlled by OEMs who manufacture and distribute primarily from Europe.
Close collaboration between Renewable Parts Ltd, other industry partners and academics have led to the development of refurbished parts that are equal to, if not better than, the originals.
Their circular model encourages an almost constant ‘closed loop’ system that is fed by returned used parts in exchange for ‘as new’ refurbished parts. Central to the success of this concept has been the development of a robust reverse logistics operation which was created to counter client objections and inertia.
Join us as we hear how Renewable Parts Ltd have created this successful refurbishing story and perhaps be inspired to look at your products and processes in a different way.
