Lemac is one of the world leaders in electric motor design with more than 25 years of experience. In recent years, the company has focussed on its core business of stairlifts, but did you know that Lemac is also a world leader in recycling?
Over the past 2 years, Lemac has been heavily investing in circular economy initiatives including recycling and remanufacturing. In 2019 the company launched the Lemac Multilift in the quest to provide a truly versatile multiple lifting solution. This practical and common-sense approach delivers significant savings in time and cost, which benefits not only the customer but also the environment.
Lemac will share with us how they have successfully launched an apprenticeship program, embedded a culture of continuous improvement, rolled out the circular economy concept within their business and how Covid-19 has affected them.
Bright Green Business will then introduce us to their bespoke Environmental Placement Programme which has proven to help businesses to adopt a circular economy model by taking a highly-skilled graduate on placement.
