A panel event with Booth Welsh and Albacom who will present their thoughts and experiences of recent (and past) mergers and acquisitions. With both companies going through acquisition or mergers recently - and during the Covid-19 pandemic - the aim is to create a knowledge exchange that provides interactive debate and engagement across the members.

Even during a world-wide pandemic, companies are acquired, mergers take place, and JVs are formed.

CeeD has a broad range of members and this session will draw upon the recent experiences of two of our members who have chosen the acquisition and merger route as part of their strategy to address new challenges, new markets and growth!

Booth Welsh Acquired iTech in October 2020 bringing together technology synergy and expanding their market expertise in automation & control systems to support clients in a post COVID world

Albacom merged with Genista Energy in October 2020 to form greater expertise and capability through this process to increase their platform for developing cleantech capability for future markets.

Alan Kelly Partner at MacRoberts will facilitate a panel session of the conversation between Martin Welsh of Booth Welsh and Jim Davidson of Albacom as they each share their insights and observations regarding their recent experiences of their own merger and acquisition journeys over the last few months.

The session will be interactive and we invite audience interaction through video and chat channels, during the session as well hearing from the key panelists.

We are also keen to have some advanced questions that we can put to the panel to add some additional insight and allow greater learning and peer to peer sharing – following the strong tradition of CeeD activities.
