200709 Help Us Help You - Returning to Work Safely. A Focus Group session with CCL Design, East Kilbride

We are delighted to welcome the CeeD network along to a Focus Group session, taking place next Thursday 9^th July (10am) with CeeD member CCL Design, East Kilbride.

As the country finds the restrictions of lockdown being eased and we start to return to some normality, employers and service providers understand the importance of helping employees and customers feel they are returning to a safe environment.  Many are now looking forward and putting measures in place to assist with social distancing as well as ensuring surfaces and touch points are cleaned regularly.  

Here's how one CeeD member hopes to play their part.

To help in the battle against COVID-19, CCL Design have created an anti-microbial film for use in several applications, to help get people back to work, school and into a “new normal”.  Features of the product include:

• Approved by independent lab to BS EN ISO 22196 global anti-microbial standards
• Eradicates the bacteria which cause contamination and infection, as well as those responsible for odours and staining
• Acts as a complementary measure to routine cleaning
• Active substances we use have been successfully tested against other enveloped viruses, such as Influenza, Avian Flu and SARS.  It would therefore be reasonable to imply that those same active substances would be effective against COVID-19
• Offers continuous and permanent protection against microbes
• Excellent protection against Bacteria, Biofilm, Fungi and Mould

CCL Design will cover the features of the product (stated above) and the benefits of Antimicrobial Coating as well as an overview of potential applications including industrial, medical centres, laboratories, transport and rail networks and office spaces, amongst others.
