In partnership with Innovate UK, Glasgow Caledonian University and CeeD we are delighted to welcome you to our next Innovation event: – Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) {title} on Thursday February 7th, 2019 from 9:30 AM  through to 12:30 PM in CEE1 in the Centre for Executive Education Building. Tea and coffee will be provided.

Knowledge Transfer Partnership is Europe’s leading program to help businesses to improve their competitiveness and productivity through better use of knowledge, technology and skills. A KTP will link a company to a knowledge base (either a University or a Research Organisation) and a capable graduate or post graduate will be recruited to deliver the project, guided by a team of academic experts.

A Knowledge Transfer Partnership serves to meet a core strategic need and to identify innovative solutions to help that business grow. KTP often delivers significant increased profitability for business partners as a direct result of the partnership through improved quality and operations, increased sales and access to new markets.

Innovate UK is part of UK Research and Innovation, the new organisation that will ensure the UK maintains its world leading position in research and innovation. Innovate UK will continue to focus on accelerating business-led innovation through grants, loans and connectivity. Join us to hear the latest updates from Jim Berryman, who will describe how Innovate UK are keen to provide technical and financial support for local businesses. Prof Gordon Morison from Glasgow Caledonian University will share his success stories of KTP.
