Menstruation Awareness Training for Managers

Creating a workplace where people feel supported starts with confident, informed leadership.

This practical and interactive session, delivered by Morna Ronnie, is designed for managers and leaders who want to better understand menstruation and menstrual health and the impact these can have on colleagues at work.  The training provides the knowledge and confidence needed to have supportive conversations, respond appropriately to concerns, and create an inclusive working environment where everyone can thrive.

Who should attend?

This session is aimed at:

  • Managers

  • Team Leaders

  • Supervisors

  • Anyone with people management responsibilities

What we'll cover

During this two-hour workshop, we'll explore:

  • Why supporting menstruation and menstrual health matters in the workplace

  • The basics of the menstrual cycle and the symptoms people may experience

  • Common menstrual health conditions, including:

    • Endometriosis

    • Adenomyosis

    • PCOS

    • Fibroids

    • PMDD

  • The role managers play in supporting colleagues

  • Practical workplace adjustments that may help someone manage symptoms at work

  • How to approach conversations about menstruation with confidence, empathy and professionalism

Why this matters

Menstrual health can affect attendance, wellbeing, concentration and performance at work.  Yet many managers feel unsure about how to discuss the topic or what support they can offer.

This session helps break down barriers, increase understanding and give managers the tools they need to support their teams effectively.

By the end of the session, managers will leave with a better understanding of menstrual health, greater confidence in supporting colleagues, and practical actions they can take to create a more inclusive workplace culture.
