The Digital Capability Assessment Illustration Workshop is designed to provide essential information to manufacturing SMEs interested in adopting digital technologies and seeking support to develop a comprehensive digital transformation roadmap. The event aims to equip participants with the knowledge and tools necessary to build the capabilities required for achieving desired business outcomes.

  • Introduction to the Business Performance and Capability Lab: Dr. Tom Pfefferkorn will present an overview of the Lab’s mission and its role in supporting SMEs through digital transformation.
  • Introduction to the Lighthouse Project: Dr. Guven Gurkan Inan will explain the methodology of the Lighthouse Project, including the online and onsite capability assessments, which are central to helping businesses identify and close technology-capability gaps.
  • Capability Assessment and Management: Emeritus Professor Umit S Bititci will discuss how businesses can effectively assess and manage their capabilities to drive performance improvements.
  • Digital Capability Assessment and Management Framework: Dr. Guven Gurkan Inan will introduce the framework used for digital capability assessment and management, highlighting its benefits and practical applications.
  • Benefits for Participating Companies: Dr. Luciana Blaha will outline the specific advantages for companies that engage with the assessment process, emphasizing how it can lead to improved business performance and competitiveness.
  • Vyne Analytics Platform: Dr. Tom Pfefferkorn will demonstrate how the Vyne Analytics platform supports the capability assessment process, showcasing its features and functionality.
  • Onsite Assessment and Reporting: Dr. Luciana Blaha or Prof. Bing Xu will detail how onsite assessments will be arranged, while Dr. Luciana Blaha or Dr. Guven Gurkan Inan will provide an illustration of the final reports and dashboards that participating companies can expect.
