Aim of the masterclass: The fourth and final masterclass, specifically for manufacturing SME's based in Scotland, will look at the market for remanufactured products. We will invite a group of companies to a round table discussion with a business mentor and academic partners.
The half day masterclass covers:
- Overcoming resistance to remanufactured products
- Pricing of remanufactured products
- Using warranties as a choice leveller
- Selling the environmental benefits of remanufacture over OEM and compatible products
- Integrating into the OEM supply chain
- Product availability – supply and reverse logistics
- BS 8001 British Standard – the world’s first standard for implementing circular economy principles
- ISO standards
