In partnership with Angus Council we have pleasure in inviting you to join us for a session on Bids, Proposals and Tenders – how to beat the competition without cutting prices.

Think about the last proposal or tender you wrote. Was it easy to produce?  Did it concisely contain all the information the client wanted? Was it a pleasure to read? Did it win?

If the answer to any of these questions is no, you will benefit from this clinic.

Our presenter, Anne Farr, Managing Director of Rothera Group Ltd., delivers tender and proposal training to companies throughout the world.  This training helps companies to win more business, motivate their staff, operate more efficiently and strengthen their corporate brand.

Anne is a strategic thinker and skilled communicator.  Drawing on experience gained in several industry sectors she specialises in transferring knowledge between individuals, groups and organisations.  She retains her engineering background and ensures all training is practical, relevant and targeted.

The extensive work she carries out with tender documents, processes and writers is reflected in the course material she delivers.  Trainees benefit from hearing about current industry best practice as well as learning from theory.

Throughout her career, Anne has developed her presentation skills through a range of formal and peer training.  Her feedback scores for training ability are consistently in the top 10%.

Experience

Anne regularly works with clients from the public, private and third sectors and specialises in helping companies in the energy, construction and engineering supply chains to win more work, at higher prices.  She has trained several of the country’s largest companies and worked on innumerable live bids ranging in value from £5k - £150m+ (and one at £1.32bn)  These clients are bidding for work in the public and private sectors, and for funding from the public sector.

She has private sector clients in all major industrial sectors from manufacturing to professional services and from construction to software.  They range in size from micro-SMEs to global multinationals.

In this session, Anne will lead you through the essentials of tendering to help ensure your next bid is successful.  Originally qualified as Civil Engineer, she has a pragmatic approach to bidding so you will learn practical techniques to make your life easier.  You will find out how to justify higher pricing, and ensure your proposal is better than your competitors.

Anne’s knowledge and experience will be freely available to you during this session, so come with examples and questions to ensure you make best use of your valuable time.
