A New Face at CeeD

We have a few staff changes to annouce at CeeD

Maternity Cover: Welcome Lauren Zoryk!

We’d like to introduce Lauren Zoryk who joined CeeD on 8 February 2021 to cover Victoria Souter’s role as Business Development Manager (West & South of Scotland) while she is on maternity leave – and we’d like to wish Victoria all the best with her forthcoming new arrival.

Lauren brings a strong background in event and project management with a strong focus on Energy and Export supply chains. She has experience spearheading major conferences, strategic planning and building collaborative partnerships within membership organisations.

Originally from Lesotho, Lauren grew up in South Africa and moved to the UK – for love – over 20 years ago.

We’re delighted to have Lauren on board and ask that Members now contact her directly, as Victoria prepares to finish up on Friday, 23 February 2021. This will include any correspondence relating to membership (events and news, questions about benefits, activities and getting involved in CeeD programmes), payments, receipts or if you’d like to reach out to the CeeD network for peer-to-peer support.

Victoria will certainly be missed – she has been with CeeD since 2013 and has seen many changes in the evolution of CeeD, and been heavily involved in helping us on that journey. We wish Victoria a fond au revoir and look forward to meeting the newest and youngest CeeD member very soon.

Lauren’s contact details are as follows:

Farewell Ian Gibson

We are also sorry to say farewell to Ian Gibson, Advancing Manufacturing Cluster Builder Programme Manager, who will be leaving CeeD on 24th February 2021. Ian has been a great support for the Cluster Builder programme, building strong connections with the AMCF (Advancing Manufacturing Challenge Fund) projects across Scotland.

Ian has been wooed back into industry to take up an exciting transformation role in an important organisation to Scotland’s infrastructure and we wish Ian well in his new venture.

We are actively recruiting to fill the position and will announce the new Programme Manager in due course. For queries regarding the Advancing Manufacturing programme in the meantime, please contact a member of the CeeD team
