Submissions for this form are closed.

The following are brief rationale for each proposed Workshop. Please tell us which of these you would like to see introduced as a Workshop this year.

Only the most favoured two Clinics can be introduced.

Quality Systems & Engineering

Every organisation is challenged with creating confidence in their organisation and systems to ensure customer satisfaction, legal compliance and that our products and services meet their design intent repeatably and reliably. This can involve prescribed systems specific to the markets that we serve, where we need to manage these systems effectively and with the most productive effort.

How do we ensure that we maximise the benefits of our controls to provide compliance to multiple standards, whilst protecting our cost for quality models?

Design Engineering

We all look at our products and services as being unique, with the USP or differentiation being installed at the Design phase. The Design phase is critical in achieving time to market, market leadership, technological advantage, product or service compliance, meeting customer expectations on whole life costs, whilst future proofing for technology, market or environmental impacts. This workshop sets out to review the Design Engineer’s journey and the latest methods, controls and techniques in the toolbox.

Research & Development

What does R&D mean to you? How do you manage R&D within the organisation? How do we generate ideas and concepts? What protocols do we use to support our R&D efforts? What metrics to we use to track activity? Do we maximise the use of the tax credits on offer?

Exporting & Trade Compliance

Whether our challenge is exploiting new export markets, or keeping up with changes in our customers’ consumption points, our trade compliance obligations remain, and we need to understand the dynamics and impacts of these changes, as non-compliance does not simply result in wasted effort and lost cost opportunities, this could also result in prosecutions and fines. This workshop aims to help steer the path to understanding requirements and impacts.
