Winton Castle are hosting February's Bright Green Business Network event. Trustee Owner Sir Francis Ogilvy will give a presentation on Winton Castle’s history and commitment to environmental sustainability. Following the presentation there will be the opportunity to explore the Castle and see first hand how renewable energy is being used.
The exclusive use events and wedding venue in East Lothian has held a Gold Green Tourism Business Scheme award (GTBS) for its sustainable approach to corporate and private hospitality since 2011. Corporate Social Responsibility is embedded in Winton's culture, and caring for the environment has been at the heart of the management of Winton Estate for hundreds of years. The Estate is managed for the very long term and aspires to play a role locally and nationally for the environment, economy and local community.
