Leadership and Empowerment in an Uncertain World

We are delighted to announce an executive roundtable event, as part of CeeD's Executive Leadership Programme 'Leading From The Front'. This event will start at 0930am running to 1100am  on 2nd of September and led by Graeme Crombie a Partner at Matrix Management Consultants and is a highly experienced consultant specialising in organisation development and innovation performance improvement.

We’re all facing up to the fact that a lot of things are changing in the world of work post-Covid.  New working arrangements will likely see more people work from home with less opportunity for close supervision and control.  Some commentators are also suggesting that familiar organisation and job design principles will give way as leaders seek more flexibility and build more resilience amongst employees.  Some in fact suggest that organisations in future will pay less attention to fixed roles that are likely to be subject to faster, and faster change.  Instead, they will look to build a core of employees with vital skills for survival and growth in an uncertain and fast-moving environment.

So, how can leaders create organisations that cope more easily with uncertainty and new business challenges?  How will they build confidence amongst employees to allow them to consistently make their best contribution in these circumstances?  This session will present a model for leadership that maximises levels of empowerment and nurtures high-level critical skills enabling flexibility and productivity.  The discussion will cover key principles for goal-setting, management control, and performance management that increase ownership and accountability amongst all staff.  The session will also introduce the concept of “meta-skills” – skills that transcend jobs and roles and which are essential foundations for success in any job.

Please that this is a closed Group and invitation only by the CeeD team.  Numbers are restrited to 16.
