200218 Unlocking Sustainability during Product Development in the Scottish (Aero)Space Sector

We aim to break with the paradigm that you cannot make profit while being environmentally friendly and sociably responsible during this interactive event focusing on integral product development.  Participants will be sharing practices for sustainability, develop ways to integrate these into methods and tools for product development, and setting out action plans to this purpose.  Thus, this breakfast event offers an unique opportunity to collaborate on integrating sustainability in product development, particularly aiming at the (aero)space sector.

It aims at bringing together designers, engineers, managers and other relevant functions for the development of space assets and their components.  Other sectors are welcome, too.

The interactive workshop aims at
·      Knowledge sharing and networking between companies, organisations and academia.
·      Identifying partnerships for business and development.

This event is co-organised by the Centre for Engineering Education and Development, Woodward Aircraft Engine Systems and the University of Glasgow.
