Pipeline to Innovation workshop
There are a vast array of business support and funding initiatives available to companies wanting to pursue innovative projects from early TRL through to commercialisation. Understanding and deciphering which is the most suitable can often be a challenge. Further obstacles are faced when trying to articulate a specific innovation in response to criteria outlined in an application process.
CeeD in partnership with The Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN) and The Defense and Security Accelerator (DASA) are delighted to invite you to join us for a workshop on Thursday 21st November 2019 from 9:30am to 3:00pm at the DoubleTree by Hilton, Kingsway West, Dundee, DD2 5JT
Our team of experts will provide valuable advice and information to assist you in overcoming such obstacles. We will provide an overview of the latest support mechanisms in place and will explain how they marry together to form a pipeline to innovation.
DASA will showcase a range of funding opportunities in both Themed Competitions and Open Call for Innovation Categories. The KTN will explain a variety of business support mechanisms that enable a company to cut across sectors and exploit new technologies. This will include a taster session on the Innovation Canvas – a bespoke ‘KTN' tool that will assess your innovation readiness. The outcome can provide valuable context to any funding application and help you tailor your innovation ‘pitch’. You will hear how your company can benefit from management Knowledge Transfer Partnerships; an initiative designed to measurably increase business productivity. We will encourage you to share and discuss your innovative ideas with us so that we can effectively steer you to the right opportunity.
