The ever-increasing volume and significance of data in our daily lives, and the power of the information locked inside, represents one of the greatest opportunities and challenges. Data underpins business and our economy, providing new insights into consumer needs and enabling new products and services to be developed.
AIMday Data held on 15 March 2018 by the University of Edinburgh is designed to bring together multi-disciplinary researchers with organisations that face challenges within the area of data in order to find pathways to solutions.
AIMday is a one-day event comprised of multiple one-hour workshops based on challenges put forward by companies. Questions posed are made available on this website for academics and researchers. With our track record and expertise in data science, The University of Edinburgh is well placed to help your organisation benefit from working with academics from all parts of the University.
Companies and organisations are invited to submit questions up until 9 February 2018 by visiting the Registration for Organisations page. Feel free to submit as many questions as you like.
Please note that your questions will be published on this website.
To ensure your workshop(s) are successful, we ask that at least two company representatives who are familiar with the question or challenge posed are available to participate.
For any queries or if you need help formulating your questions, please contact the team at Edinburgh.Innovations@ed.ac.uk.
