What the event is about:

Preparing for investment is about far more than a strong idea or pitch deck. For entrepreneurs, particularly in the tech and creative sectors, success often depends on how well the legal “jigsaw” fits together for your investment round.

This practical session brings together corporate, employment and IP expertise to help tech leaders understand how investors assess legal readiness — and how to prepare your business for the questions they will ask.

From company structure and shareholder arrangements to IP ownership and employee documentation, the session will focus on the key legal building blocks investors expect to see in place before committing capital.

Drawing on real-world experience across tech, creative, gaming, medical, drug discovery and software businesses, our speakers will share guidance on how to frame your investment proposition, present your legal position with confidence and avoid common pitfalls that can delay or derail a funding round.
