Engineering offers more routes in than ever before, from apprenticeships and graduate programmes to career changes and upskilling. Pathways & Progress explores how organisations can make these options clearer, more accessible, and more attractive to a wider range of people.

Hosted at member company Aggreko, winners of the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Award at the CeeD Annual Industry Awards, this session will highlight the value of diverse entry points into engineering. We will focus on practical steps employers can take, such as promoting apprenticeship pathways, strengthening early‑careers visibility, supporting internal mobility, and removing barriers that prevent people from progressing.

Attendees will gain actionable insights into how to create clearer talent pipelines, how to showcase engineering as an accessible and rewarding career, and how to build environments where individuals can grow at every stage of their journey.
