Practical Strategic Alignment: Building Momentum Through Coherent Action

CeeD members are invited to a half-day Leadership Workshop exploring how to get your organisation or team consistently moving in the same direction.

Many leaders assume tighter control drives alignment, but in reality, control often creates compliance, not commitment.  Genuine alignment comes from finishing strategic debates, building shared commitment and creating the conditions for self‑organising, coherent action.  This workshop will show how to shift from control to clarity-led alignment, unlocking momentum and reducing friction across your organisation.

You’ll also learn a systematic approach to overcoming scattered initiatives, fragmented effort and the slow progress that traditional oversight tends to produce.

Learning Outcomes:

  • How releasing control (with clear outcomes) creates breakthrough momentum
  • Finishing strategic debates to build real commitment
  • Strengthening trust, interdependence and self‑organisation
  • Modelling alignment at senior levels so it cascades naturally
  • Creating agility without chaos; focus without rigidity

Who Should Attend?
Business leaders and senior managers in engineering and manufacturing who want alignment to be easier, faster and more effective.

Business Benefits:

  • Achieve more with the same or fewer resources
  • Self‑sustaining performance and momentum
  • Reduced wasted effort
  • Higher engagement and retention
  • Faster project delivery
  • Improved overall results

Workshop Leader:
Dr David Fraser, long-standing CeeD associate and leader of two established CeeD leadership groups. With a senior background in engineering, manufacturing and scientific research, David has supported 200+ organisations and authored two books.

A workshop not to be missed if you want to build lasting momentum.
