The UK Government (DSIT) recently published the Cyber Governance Code of Practice, Software Security Code of Practice, and the AI Cyber security Code of Practice. This session will provide insights into these modular Codes of Practice that are a part of a broader approach taken by government to ensure citizens and businesses in the UK can use digital technologies safely.

The first part of the workshop will provide attendees with an overview of DSIT’s work to date including on why we created the Codes and how to use them. Following this, there will be an opportunity for participants to ask questions relating to DSIT’s cyber security initiatives. We will also be interested to hear from participants on whether sectors face particular challenges from implementing these Codes of Practice and if there are additional Government levers which could support organisations with the future adoption
