The Scotland 5G Centre and CeeD are co-hosting ‘Environmental Impacts: How Data Connectivity Underpins Visible, Verifiable and Valuable Environmental Monitoring in Net Zero Ecosystem'.

Building on the work that CeeD is doing with Topolytics and their Wastemap® project to make business waste Visible, Verifiable and Valuable, the event will highlight the importance of environmental monitoring in reducing carbon emissions.

The Scotland 5G Centre will explain how connectivity plays a key role and indeed underpins this process, showcasing the capabilities of 5G and how it can support and inspire businesses to achieve their business goals.

At this in-person event at the S5GConnect Forth Valley, based in Forth Valley College’s Alloa Campus, you will hear from Tom Marchbanks, Business Engagement Manager for S5GConnect Forth Valley, Dave Nicholson and Tony Ianniello from CeeD and Rebecca Pankhurst from Scottish International Environment Centre.

There will also be a live 5G demonstration given by researchers at the University of Glasgow, one of The Scotland 5G Centre’s founding partners, illustrating the importance of timely data in the decision making process using their Persuasive Energy Conscious Network dashboard.
