Ceed would like to invite you to our workshop on “How Much is Your Reputation Worth?” - an interactive session on Thursday 13rd February 2020, Abertay University, Room 1502, Bell Street, Dundee, DD1 1HG from 9:30am for registration starting at 10am and finishing by 12:30pm.
How Much is Your Reputation Worth?
When a crisis strikes, the media will not be far behind, with all that implies for your reputation. Crises can generate negative media coverage and pressure from quarters such as clients, stakeholders, activist groups and even the government. Effective crisis communication is therefore crucial to effective crisis management.
It is important that you make your voice heard in the debate. If handled incorrectly, a crisis can irreparably harm your organization. If handled correctly, it can enhance your reputation and credibility. Samsung’s Note 7 battery fires, KFC running out of chicken, the Virgin Pendolino rail crash at Grayrigg all demonstrate that, to quote a leading crisis management expert, “if you can emerge from a crisis with your reputation intact, you can always pick up the other pieces”.
Black Bear has been working in the field of Crisis Management for over 25 years. Their clients include The Scottish Ambulance Service, Shell Expro, West Lothian Council, Babcock and Servisair to name but a few.
This introductory workshop will cover the principles of Reputation Management, Crisis Communication and Media Management.
