SUMMARY:Building Reliability into Product Development: A W
orkshop on Accelerated Life Testing and Failure An
alysis of  Products\, Hosted by Thales and suppor
ted by REACT\, University of Glasgow'
DESCRIPTION:Highly engineered products are expected to perform
reliably for years\, often in demanding environme
nts\, yet development timescales rarely allow for
 years of testing.&nbsp\; This practical half-day w
orkshop will explore how organisations can predict
\, test and improve reliability earlier in the pro
duct lifecycle\, helping to reduce risk\, avoid co
stly failures and accelerate product development.\
n \n Hosted by Thales UK\, the event will begin wi
th a welcome and business update from the host org
anisation\, followed by presentations from Martin
Shaw of Reliability Solutions and Dr Suzanne Coste
 llo of Forensic Eyes.\n \n Drawing on real-world i
ndustrial experience\, the session will examine ho
w accelerated lifetime testing can be used to pred
ict product performance and how failure analysis c
an provide valuable insights that improve design\,
  manufacturing and long-term reliability.&nbsp\; T
hrough practical examples and discussion\, delegat
es will gain a greater understanding of how reliab
ility engineering can support innovation\, quality
and performance across a range of technologies an
 d applications.\n \n Event Details:\n Venue: Thale
 s UK\, Linthouse Road\, Glasgow\n Date:&nbsp\;Tues
 day 10 November\n Timings:&nbsp\;09:30 Arrival &am

\n This workshop is aimed at engineers\, researche
rs\, PhD students and technical managers working i
 n product development\, advanced manufacturing\, e
 lectronics\, materials\, microsystems\, advanced p
ackaging and continuous improvement.\n \n This eve
nt is being delivered in partnership with the Univ
ersity of Glasgow&#39\;s REACT (Responsible Electr
onics and Circular Technologies) Centre.&nbsp\; RE
ACT is the UK&#39\;s first research centre dedicat
ed to advancing sustainable electronics\, bringing
together academic and industry partners to develo
 p more durable\, reliable\, repairable and recycla
 ble technologies.&nbsp\; Through collaboration\, i
nnovation and knowledge exchange\, REACT supports
organisations in improving product performance and
longevity while helping to address the environmen
tal and economic challenges facing modern manufact
uring and electronics industries.&nbsp\; You can f
