 gement into your engineering and manufacturing pro
 cesses is a key driver of control\, collaboration 
 and productivity.&nbsp\; In this session we will i
 ntroduce document management with SharePoint and a
 lso talk through two engineering use cases the dra
 wing office and the nonconformity register.\n \n S
 harePoint is a great place to store\, manage and c
 ollaborate. It allows organisations to manage acce
 ss\, build document approval\, retiral and change 
 processes as well as a host of great features like
  lists\, automated workflows and AI.\n \n One chal
 lenge many engineering and manufacturing organisat
 ions struggle with is the best way to manage their
  drawings and designs. Access to CAD systems can b
 e expensive and require expertise\, but many users
  simply require an easy place to go and explore dr
 awings. &nbsp\;One answer to this is to build a dr
 awing office in SharePoint\, where you store PDF c
 opies of all CAD drawings\, making them much more 
 accessible to the entire organisation. This allows
  any changes or improvements to be owned and contr
 olled by the product owner while still providing v
 isibility to wider teams.\n \n Another great use c
 ase for SharePoint is for things like the nonconfo
 rmity register. You can easily create a register t
 o track any issues or improvements needed within y
 our solutions that allow your wider team to log th
 em and your product team to work through these.\n
