 Jointly funded by the Scottish Government and Scot
 tish Business Climate Collaboration (SBCC) members
 \, and delivered by Zero Waste Scotland\, the Clim
 ate Action hub is a free-to-use platform that is i
 ntended to support SMEs understand climate risk an
 d develop decarbonisation plans to support the glo
 bal ambition of net zero.  \n \n Participating b
 usinesses who have come together to create the SBC
 C are from a range of key strategic economic secto
 rs. They are Aggreko\, Diageo\, EY\, FirstGroup\, 
 Bank of Scotland\, ScottishPower\, Scottish Water 
 and Wood Group.&nbsp\;As part of the commitments m
 ade by the collaboration\, the SBCC looks to suppo
 rt their supply chains and the wider small and med
 ium enterprises ecosystem in Scotland through the 
 development of the Climate Action Hub.    \n
  \n The Hub features a multitude of resources incl
 uding 12 short e-learning modules on topics rangin
 g from entry-level climate science to carbon emiss
 ions related to business practices. Users of the p
 latform will also have free access to a dashboard 
 to track carbon literacy across their organisation
  and the tools to calculate their own carbon basel
 ine and develop a carbon reduction plan.   \n 
 \n  The platform comes at a critical point in ti
 me for SMEs that are suffering now more than ever 
 with the impact of the ongoing cost of living cris
 is. The Climate Action Hub aims to support an ambi
 tion to significantly reduce emissions while also 
 boosting cost savings for businesses.\n \n Aggreko
  has developed its own decarbonisation strategy\, 
 making its own facilities and operations more effi
 cient with an ambitious Net Zero commitment and al
 so committing to reduce greenhouse gas emissions a
 nd local emissions from its customer solutions by 
 promoting Greener Upgrade energy solutions.\n \n A
  key part of Aggreko&rsquo\;s decarbonisation stra
 tegy involves its supply chain partners\, where th
 ey work closely with suppliers to develop products
  that improve the efficiency of their energy solut
 ions and to identify new technologies that will pr
 ovide cleaner energy for customers in a way that i
 s scalable\, reliable and economically viable.&nbs
 p\; Aggreko is committed to working with suppliers
  to encourage sustainable business practices to ma
 ke a positive change throughout the whole value ch
 ain.
