DESCRIPTION:Innovation is vital to meeting the challenges face
 d by the water industry both now and in the future
 . Scottish Water&rsquo\;s Water Development Centre
  is Scotland&rsquo\;s first full scale test facili
 ty dedicated to supporting research and innovation
  in the water sector.\n \n Research companies and 
 academia have a pivotal role to play in shaping th
 e future of the water sector. Our Water Developmen
 t Centre offers innovators a unique opportunity to
  meet these challenges head on. By facilitating ac
 cess to a live demonstration site\, we enable comp
 anies to research and test new and innovative prod
 ucts\, equipment and technologies on an operationa
 l scale. As the only facility of its kind in Scotl
 and\, innovators can conduct trials under live con
 ditions in the comfort of a safe\, dedicated and l
 ow risk environment. \n \n We also offer the oppor
 tunity for companies to showcase and demonstrate i
 nnovations to Scottish Water\, helping to accelera
 te the adoption of new technologies within the wid
 er UK water industry.\n \n Important information: 
 \n \n Getting there: \n \n To get to Gorthleck Dev
 elopment Centre\, the easiest route is to take the
  A9 leaving Inverness and turn right onto the B851
  junction. From this junction\, you can follow the
  road all the way to the Development Centre. Pleas
 e be aware the road is a mixture of normal and sin
 gle-track roads\, so please take care and pay atte
 ntion to signage that has been put in place by the
  landowner. \n \n If you are travelling with a col
 league\, please car share as there are a limited n
 umber of car parking spaces at the centre. \n \n Y
 ou will need: \n \n \n 	Safety boots\n 	Hi-vis jac
 ket \n 	Goggles \n \n \n Please note\, you will no
 t be granted access to the site without the full r
 equired PPE. Please let us know as early as possib
 le if you require additional PPE. \n \n &nbsp\;
