Three years of progress to Net Zero

Scottish Water has set an ambitious target to achieve one of its key strategic aims to become Net Zero by 2040 across its operational and investment activities. But how do we make this a reality? Where are we in the journey and what are we changing to reach this goal? How do we become more resilient to inevitable changes in our climate and adapt for the future?

Join us to learn from our Net Zero Emissions lead – Gordon Reid – about our Net Zero strategy and progress we are making towards our targets. As part of the session, you will visit one of our Wastewater Treatment works, hear from our experienced operators and see real examples of how we are tackling our emissions and thinking creatively about how we can adapt our sites.

Delegates are advised to bring their own Personal Protective Equipment; however, please let me know if you do not have any of the items below:

  • High Visibility Vest
  • Safety Glasses
  • Safety Gloves (non-latex)
