CeeD sponsoring member and local Ayrshire business, Ryanair Engineering (PAML) have kindly agreed to host the latest 'AyrSHARE' networking and best practice event on Wednesday 1st May at 10am which aims to engage and bring together Ayrshire businesses and support organisations for community wealth building. You will get the opportunity to hear and learn from the Ryanair Engineering Team and see their Operations up close with a Site Tour plus get the opportunity to share your own experiences.
Ryanair Engineering are an award-winning organisation with General Manager Vicki Lambert winning the 2024 CeeD industry award for Women in Industry. They have a strong people focus and a critical need to recruit, develop, and retain the aircraft engineers of not just the future but for today. The business has identified staff development and retention as key challenges which need to be addressed to ensure future growth. The skills gap identified within their engineering community has led them to establish a dedicated Performance & Development Team which has been tasked with ensuring that each employee has a clear pathway built on tailored career goals that align with their aspirations and organizational objectives. The impact of their initiative has not only been a significant increase in current employee retention but has also served as a beacon to attract new talent as well as previous staff.
As a business working in or supporting Ayrshire this is your opportunity to see and hear what Ryanair Engineering do, how they do it and to also meet other organisations creating and developing peer to peer relationships and future b2b support networks. You will also have the opportunity to hear about business growth and support opportunities from our partners at North, South and East Ayrshire Councils and more about the CeeD organisation and the opportunities and support available.
Numbers are very limited and priority will be for Ayrshire organisations.
