You are invited to join us for our second joint event in partnership with Fife Council Economic Development Team and CeeD on Thursday 21st May at the Wallace Suite, Carnegie Conference Centre, Halbeath Road, Dunfermline, KY11 8DY from 8am as Paul Fletcher and Michelle Quadrelli present on the topic of Innovation in the workplace.

How do we become more innovative?  How do we create a culture and behaviours to support innovation?

if you have asked yourself these questions before, this event is for you.

This Clinic sets out to provide the inspiration, example and a roadmap on the journey to develop Innovation Culture.  As a 3-part session, you will gain insight into a working innovation culture, hear how you can develop your own innovation culture and understand the support and sign-posting available.

Michelle Quadrelli, of Tayport-based Scott & Fyfe, will share the story of this former family-owned business. From the production of linen for sailing boats in 1864 to a producer and supplier of textile products to a number of markets worldwide.  The business now has a turnover of £10m and 80 staff and has transformed itself through an innovative, design-led strategy which has seen the structure, ownership and operations of the business completely transformed.  Hear about their journey, the innovative "pod" structure of operations and workspaces, its model of leadership and the empowerment of its staff to new owners.

Further to this Paul Fletcher of Enabling Innovation will challenge you on What if? What if you could develop a culture that stimulates, supports and sustains innovation in the workplace.  Paul will introduce the What if roadmap in developing culture of innovation, from the inspiration behind innovation through the evolution to behaviours that sustain innovation.
